Share your spoon with others

I love reading books and even working at computer and writing posts at my blogs, I keep on reading about variety of topics. Most of the time I try to share those worth of writing with my readers also. I like the moral stories, quotes, and parables which teach us lessons to make our life better, to make ourselves better humans.

A few days ago one of my brother sent me this text with the title "7%"

I was first amazed to see the title, and thought may be it is about some facts and figures about any topic, but the content was really very impressing and meaningful. It is about sharing and after reading just decide either you are sharing your spoon with othesrs or not?

" 7%"

A holy man was having a conversation with the Lord one day and said,
'Lord, I would like to know what Heaven and Hell are like.'

The Lord led the holy man to two doors.

He opened one of the doors and the holy man looked in. In the middle of the room was a large round table. In the middle of the table was a large pot of stew, which smelled delicious and made the holy man's mouth water.

The people sitting around the table were thin and sickly. They appeared to be famished.

They were holding spoons with very long handles that were strapped to their arms and each found it possible to reach into the pot of stew and take a spoonful. But because the handle was longer than their arms, they could not get the spoons back into their mouths.

The holy man shuddered at the sight of their misery and suffering.
The Lord said, 'You have seen Hell.'

They went to the next room and opened the door. It was exactly the same as the first one.

There was the large round table with the large pot of stew which made the holy man's mouth water. The people were equipped with the same long-handled spoons, but here the people were well nourished and plump, laughing and talking. The holy man said, 'I don't understand.'

It is simple,' said the Lord. 'It requires but one skill. You see they have learned to feed each other, while the greedy think only of themselves.'

It's estimated 93% won't forward this.

If you are one of the 7% who will, forward this with the title '7%'.

Learn the benefits of fasting for your health

"Humans live on one-quarter of what they eat; on the other three-quarters lives their doctor."--Egyptian pyramid inscription, 3800 B.C.

There is no doubt that eating more brings more illness and diseases and on the other hand eating less and with limitations according to health and nutrition guidelines can lead to a healthy life. There is a good effect of fasting on our vigour and health.

fasting.com is from FASTING CENTER INTERNATIONAL, INC., which is internet's premier site to provide the information about fasting from 1995. They charge money from customers, but if you want to know only about "fasting" then this is a good source of information about this topic.

Why fasting is important?

To regain optimum health, happiness and healing power through the scientific practice of:

1- Fasting to remove unnecessary weight the natural way, plus learning how to keep it off for the rest of your life (please note that half of all Fasting Center International clients, on seven continents, are not fasting to lose weight);

2- Fasting to remove the 5-to-10-lb. inner, toxic waste dump* now polluting the average adult's cell, tissue and organ storage areas (chemical toxins, heavy metals, drugs, uneliminated metabolic wastes, excessive cholesterol and triglycerides in the bloodstream, arterial plaque, intestinal parasites, etc.);

3- Fasting to regain the energy you may previously have enjoyed (perhaps when you were more athletic);

4- Fasting to elevate yourself out of the clouded consciousness most spend their entire life in (unwittingly), up into the stratosphere of human potential;

5- Fasting to heighten mental clarity and all your senses, allowing you to see your life's options in much clearer perspective, and then act upon them wisely;

6- Fasting to enhance your innate wisdom, spirituality, faith and human kindness, and

7- Fasting to move yourself back toward your life's birthright potential of optimal health, increasing your happiness and healing power as you scientifically reset your body's odometer and greatly enhance your quality of life!

According to "Washington Post" research into "26,000-plus popular diets which have come and gone in the U.S. over the past 70 years," concluding that "these diets have failed Americans 99.5% of the time!".

But these scientific fasting Programs are extraordinarily successful for losing unnecessary weight, detoxification, regeneration, cleansing and more skillful orientation toward optimum health, plus self-empowerment to maintain the far greater health, happiness and healing power one gains doing these Programs.

Review:"In full bloom:A brain education guide for successful aging"

During attending a self help and positive thinking course, I was really interested in the part of training which was about "use of our brain and skills". And it was the first time I learned that we are really not using our skills. By utilizing the brain's full power, it is believed that we can acquire the best of our skills and powers. The first step towards knowing what magics and wonders our brain can do for us, we have to knwo more about functions of our brain and how we can use these abilities for a better life.

Title of this post can explain why I wrote" A brain education guide-----", because as you would read more about this book, you would realize that it is providing a good solution for our aging problem as well.

This is a self help book from Ilchi Lee" and "Dr.Jessie Jones" and the title is:

"In Full Bloom: A Brain Education Guide for Successful Aging"

What is this In full bloom book about?

The book concept is based on the theory that "as we grow older, we accept this fact that we are now old enough and so we accept the old age ralative deficiencies also. But the book provides us the message that we can choose to exercise our brain. Brain is capable of creating new brain cells and new neural connections at any age. So knowing our inners powers, and make use of it leads to a better and life, slowing down the natural process of agying.

According to I. Lee, "Understanding the brain, and knowing the brain, is really understanding and knowing your life. When we know and understand our brain, we realize the three principles of making the most out of the brain. First, “If you choose it, it happens.” Second, “Good news makes a good brain.” And third, “Always be awake.” Miracles really do happen when you use your brain well. I’ve experienced that a lot."
And J. Jones says: "The brain is the center of all actions, feelings, judgments, passions, and dreams. If older people can realize this and can enhance their brain function, it’s going to enhance their lives. And it doesn’t matter how old you are. Your brain continues to blossom…if you work at it."
