'All about life coaching' - Helping you grow spiritually

Blog 'All about life coaching' is one of those blogs which help you grow spiritually and get the most out of your life. 'Life coaching' words seems like joining or participating a course or a workshop but my opinion is that our life is a 'coach' itself if we intend to learn to make our life better. If we are keen and enthusiastic for self growth and self improvement there is a lot to learn around us.

Site itself explains about 'life coaching' in these words:

'Life coaching is helping people go from neutral on into their future. I (author) see life coaching as very individual to each every coach. It is an alliance - a partnership whereby the life coach acts as guide, support, objective observer, listener between the lines of their client in order to help that client achieve what they want to achieve in their life.'

All about life coaching is produced by Maia Berens who is life coach and former self improvement executive and known for her gentle intervention and tender wisdom. Maia graduated with a BA in Psychology from Rutgers University, which she attended on a full scholarship.

She has been dubbed 'Wise Fairy God Mother' by those who participate in her workshops, a title which she has graciously accepted.

Maia says about herself, "I have a natural ability to help people see what's good about what’s going on in their lives,” and she lives what she teaches, putting joy into each day.

As the founding director of the Mars Venus Institute, Maia trained more than 500 professional therapists and corporate speakers worldwide based on the principals of John Gray’s Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus and had the pleasure of working extensively with the book’s author for over 18 years.

Her blog 'All about life coaching' is not only a reflection of her work, but you can read a lot of useful self development articles and posts at the blog.

You can ask any self improvement related question by submitting at a given box (at the right side bar). One answer per week will be featured on the site. You can win Free book, "Once Upon a Time There Was You: Three Magic Secrets to Finding Your Real Self" if yours is chosen.

"Evolving Times" a self growth site with "Law of Attraction" resources!

Created by Edward Mills, who is a "Law of attraction" Coach, Teacher, Speaker and writer. Evolving Times is a reflection of his passion about self growth. He is an enthusiast to explore and expand his awareness of himself and the world around him.

Alongwith a long list of posts covering different areas of personal development, this blog shows Edward's passion about "The Law of attraction"

People with no knowledge of "Law of attraction" might be interested in this "Revolutionay theory", which is the talk of the town today. I am also an enthusiast about this concept, and this blog is a really nice resource for this purpose. You may get many search results, while searching for this term, but as most of the sites are professional and selling something relating to this formula, better to have a look at "Evolving Times", before going to other sites. But first, let's learn about "Law of attraction"

Our thoughts can attract what we want, our thoughts simply focus our actions, taking certain actions will certainly bring about certain results. Focusing on what you want, and following that thought with focused and planned action works. It works like magic. "The law of attraction" is based on this theory, and by applying this law in a planned manner, you can get wealth, success and everything you want in life. So in short term you can say that it is "key to success or treasure"

At Secret of law of attraction blog the definition is quoted as:

"The Law of Attraction is very real and people are utilizing it right now to achieve their dreams and goals. Through monitoring and controlling your attitude and perception you can change the experiences in your life. The programming that lies in the depths of your subconscious mind is that which controls your conscious mind, which in turn controls the choices and decisions you make in relation to the direction your life takes. By thinking positively you will be much more likely to have positive experiences to match. The bible verse that says "as you sow so shall you reap" is in line with the Law of Attraction, as is the passage "if you speak death you will eat death". Both indicate that what you think, do, feel and believe is where life will take you."

- Download free simpleology e-book

At the site a commentator says "The secret to working the Law of Attraction to our benefit involves faith in ourselves, belief in our inspiration and purpose, and then taking the inspired action to assist God/the Universe/non-physical in answering our prayers/intentions/desires."

"Just a thought"-Spreading inspirational thoughts

Just a thought is an inspirational and motivational blog, where you can learn a lot. As it is David Woon, the blogger's reflection about life in general.

The blog was created to share our thoughts, learn and grow together to make this world a better place.

I am quoting here 2 blog posts, which inspired me. One of the post is "Thank your way to Good Health!" and it says:

"Psychologists have discovered that thankfulness has positive effects on our physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.

Whenever I count my blessings and thank God for all of them, my day would somehow be a better one! So remember to be thankful for what you have - it's an easy and FREE way to obtain good health in mind, body and soul!"

For full article: hank your way to Good Health

Anlother post is: "The Character Gauge" and it is about "how do we know if we are growing in character?"

David suggested this answer to this question:

I propose two measures to gauge one's character:

1. Nobody-Centric
Don't be overly impressed by spectacular displays of courage, charity or love - it is difficult to determine the underlying motives of such actions.

One accurate external measure would be to observe how one treats the toilet-cleaner, waiter, sweeper, taxi driver or anyone who obviously isn't an asset in any imaginable way - in short, the nobodies. One can be nice to the handicapped to show off his compassion but it takes one with true character to pardon the clumsy waiter who spills soup on him.

“You can easily judge the character of others by how they treat those who can do nothing for them or to them.” - Malcolm S. Forbes (1919-1990) Publisher

"A person who is nice to you, but rude to the waiter, is not a nice person." - Dave Barry, humor columnist

2. Self-Centric
Believe it or not, most of the time, we act in a certain way to impress people or simply to look "good" in front of people. It is only when we are alone that we exhibit our true character, eg. you wouldn't download illegal materials from the internet in front of your children.

So simply observe what you do when you're alone and you'll get a good idea of the kind of person you really are.

"Our character is what we do when we think no one is looking." - H. Jackson Browne, Writer
"Reputation is what you are in the light; character is what you are in the dark." - American Proverb

Does blogging effects positively the brains of bloggers?

From the day I have started blogging, (It's been a year ago), I can feel a good improvement at my skill level. I can judge it sharply, because I am also an educator.

English is not my mother tongue, and being in blogging, there is a lot of stuff to read and write, and I can feel a distinguished improvement in my written/spoken English.

I love to learn and in blogging, every second/minute I am learning something and applying it to my blogs. I feel like more creative and practical person than before.

It is very interesting to know the effects of blogging, and this post is very informative, inspiring and giving you more reasons to be addicted of blogging. (I am an addict of blogging )

There is a very interesting blog ,which is run by Drs. Fernette and Brock Eide. They are physicians and related to education industry in practice for children with learning differeces.

Their blog has tons of posts, maily on the topics of brain, learning and self improvement. Today's post is about "What effects blogging have on the brains of blogge?"
The whole post is impressive, I am just quoting the points:

1. Blogs can promote critical and analytical thinking.

2. Blogging can be a powerful promoter of creative, intuitive, and associational thinking.

3. Blogs promote analogical thinking.

4. Blogging is a powerful medium for increasing access and exposure to quality information.
